For the last 3 years Claranet has retained the ISO 9001:2000, which was obtained based on the operational processes implemented across the business. This accreditation is an independently audited, a coherent system which means that they understand the requirements (stated & expected, etc) of their customers and produce products and services which meet those requirements in an ever improving way.

ISO9000 is a system where the things that tend to lead to good quality are properly managed, e.g.: understanding our customer's requirements, planning the work effectively, supplying adequate training, equipment and information for the work processes, monitoring of the processes and services/products supplied to Customers, continually improving the management of the processes.

The ISO 9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good quality management practices. It consists of standards and guidelines relating to quality management systems and related supporting standards.

ITIL - Information Technology Infrastructure Library

ITIL is the de facto standard for IT service management, providing a best practice framework for the provision of quality IT services.

Our key objective of adopting ITIL is to align IT services with the current and future needs of your business. Claranet has adopted this guidance and re-structured our Support department to efficiently identify customer issues and increase response and resolution times.

Claranet was awarded the Framework Agreements for Telecom Networks by the OGCbuying.solutions, having been successful during a competitive procurement process, fully compliant with EU Directives, and found to provide a quality and cost-effective service to the Public Sector.The Telecom Networks Framework Agreement allows customers throughout the public sector to place orders under the standard terms of the Agreement. Under the Agreement, Claranet will provide Infrastructure and Connectivity and Internet Service Provider (ISP) Services.

What is a Framework Agreement?

Framework Agreements enable public sector bodies to purchase services from accredited suppliers. They can call-off their requirements directly from OGCbuying.solutions’ catalogue, provided supplier capability and best value for money can be established. Alternatively, users can run a further competition through the Framework Agreement in order to establish which supplier will offer the most competitive pricing. This reduces the time and finances spent on procurement.
