1) If you are running Eudora for the first time and have not imported any settings from another email client, you will be presented with the "New Account Setup" window. Click Next.

2) Enter your name as you would like it to appear to recipients. Click Next.

3) Insert your email address in the field provided. Click Next.

4) Enter the username for your account. For example, if your email address is "yourusername@clara.co.uk" the username you enter would be "yourusername". If you have a Claranet email account that is provided as part of a Clarahost package, then the username should be the full email address.

5) For the Incoming Server (POP), insert pop.clara.net and ensure that POP is selected as the type of server you are using. Click Next.

6) For the Outgoing Server (SMTP), insert relay.clara.net
Click Next.
Please Note: You can only use the Claranet SMTP server to send mail if you are connected using Claranet. If you use an alternative internet provider, please contact them for the address of their outgoing mail server.

7) You have successfully created your account, click Finish to complete.

If you are already using Eudora and want to setup your Claranet email address, please follow the steps below:
1) Launch Eudora, click on the Personalities tab.
This is the tab highlighted using the red box on the following screenshot.
2) Right-click in the white space below the list of personas.
3) Click on New...in the pop-up menu that appears
(see red arrow on the screenshot).
4) Select Create a new account and click Next.
5) Type the name by which you would like to refer to this personality. Click Next.
6) This will redirect you to the new account wizard, please return to the top of the page and follow the original steps.
