iPass - Internet access worldwide with a local call
Use of the Global Roaming access via IPass is available to any Netscalibur standard dialup Internet (TCP) account holder. However, there is a usage time based charge for use of the IPass roaming service. This charge will depend on the IPass PoP you are dialled into, as different IPass partners charge different hourly rates for access via their network. Check out our searchable list of IPass access points and the relevant charges. The charges for the iPass Global Internet Roaming service will be based on call duration while roaming and will form part of your regular invoice statement from Netscalibur.
Our global Internet roaming service, enabled by iPass, extends to more than 3,000 POPs in 150 countries. In many of these cities there are several network providers, improving your service availability with multiple access points and redundant networks. Countries, cities, the available phone numbers and their associated dial-in properties can be found by downloading the iPass Client Software. You can also view a complete list of the countries and cities where there are local access numbers on iPass' Global Access Points web page at: http://www.ipass.com/accesspoints.html.
iPass software is compatible with Windows, Mac OS 9 and OSX. iPass works on a modem, ISDN connection or WiFi broadband. You can download the iPass software now.

To enable your email program to send outbound emails via our SMTP mail server, you will need to register your current roaming address with our server. All you need to do is enter your User ID and Password in the spaces below, click the "Register on Server" button, and if you have entered the correct ID, then you just wait about 30 seconds before sending mail from your system. The registration will last for about 30 minutes, provided that you do not disconnect and reconnect - this will change the Internet Address you are roaming from, and you will have to re-register with the server.
