Claranet Helps Five.TV Cull 15 Web Hosting Deals to One

Claranet has been selected by UK TV broadcasting company FIVE TV to host and manage its principal websites: FIVE corporate, FIVE FWD (The Gadget Show and Fifth Gear), FIVE News and Neighbours. Claranet’s managed application hosting service will reduce costs by approximately £100,000, according to Five’s digital controller Paul Thornton-Jones, improve operational efficiency, as well as ensure the overall performance of the websites amidst an explosion in web traffic and demand for video and interactive content.
