Leading IT Services Group bags "Best Business ISP" gong at The 2007 ISPAs. Claranet, the managed services experts, has been named "Best Business ISP"
at The 2007 ISPAs - The 9th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards.

The Best Business ISP award is presented to the business Internet service provider which provides the most outstanding Internet services for UK businesses. Entrants' broadband services are independently tested for three months and the final winner is selected based on a variety of criteria including the diversity of packages, pricing, hosting services and other value added services.

"The judges agreed that Claranet's services offer outstanding quality, reliability and adaptability for businesses," said an ISPA Spokesperson. "They were particularly impressed with Claranet's customer support and their dedicated managed security services."

Claranet beat the competition to take the award, presented by the Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA) at the annual awards ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, in Grosvenor Square.

"Claranet has now been named the UK's best business ISP three times in the last six years," said Claranet's Founder and CEO Charles Nasser. "We have made great efforts to retain our focus on high quality business services and unbeatable customer service while the number of business customers we serve has grown. Claranet is committed to delivering the very best service to our customers. The average time for a real person to answer support calls is just 15 seconds. As an IT and communications specialist for businesses, Claranet takes care of companies' IT needs, while they take care of their business."

Claranet was also recognised by the judges, for its "broad charity work" in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award category.

"Claranet believes that we have a duty and a responsibility to work with the wider community on environmental and economic issues," explains Charles Nasser. "We support disadvantaged communications and charitable organisations through corporate sponsorships and employee initiatives like Payroll Give as you Earn. We're pleased that our excellent CSR programme received a worthy mention from the judges."
